Objective

  1. To ensure the Financial and Management Accounting for the Ministry of Finance are efficiently implemented with integrity through effective control and monitoring of the accounting system.

Client Charter

  1. To disburse payment to supplier / individual in three (3) calendar’s days upon receipt of complete documents.
  2. To ensure that salary payment and deductions are performed on the scheduled date.
  3. To respond on enquiries related to financial and accounting management within 15 working days.
  4. To verify the disposal of financial and accounting documents within 10 working days upon receipt of complete documents.
  5. Conducting inspectorate function to monitor the compliance of Accrual Accounting for 100% PTJ under BA MOF based on specified KPI.
  6. Issuing 12 Financial Statements for the Ministry of Finance within stipulated timeframe.
  7. Ensuring the implementation of Accounting Management through monitoring Strategic Management Accounting and Reporting (SMARt) for all Ministries every six (6) months.

Function

  1. Managing and recording for receipts and payments, including salary payments, preparing Accounting Reports and Financial Statements for the Ministry of Finance.
  2. Reviewing and monitoring Account Receivable Documents (DAT) received from all Collection Centres under the Ministry of Finance.
  3. Conducting inspectorate function to monitor financial and accounting management at all Responsibility Centers (PTJ) under BA MOF.
  4. Implementing Management Accounting for the Ministry of Finance and ensuring implementation of Management Accounting in all Ministries.
  5. Providing advisory services related to financial and accounting management.
  6. Planning and implementing financial and accounting training programmes for the Responsibility Centres (PTJ) of the Ministry of Finance.
  7. Managing services related matters, finance, procurement and administration of the BA MOF.
  8. Reviewing and verifiying the disposal of financial and accounting documents.
  9. Monitoring the implementation of the Standard Accounting System for Government Agencies (SAGA) under the Ministry of Finance.
